The card for Delta loyalists — free bags, priority boarding, and a path to status.

The Delta Gold is a straightforward value proposition: if you fly Delta 3+ times a year, the free checked bag alone covers the $150 fee. The priority boarding and inflight savings are nice bonuses. But be honest about whether you're truly a Delta loyalist — if you price-shop airlines, a flexible points card like the CSP or Venture X will serve you better. This card is for people who've already decided Delta is their airline.
